Eclipse Support The Chris Evans Breakfast Show
On the 17th of June we produced the ‘Dine and Disco’ fundraising event for The Chris Evans Breakfast Show in aid of BBC Children in Need. Every year this event attracts some of the top names from the music industry and exciting gourmet chefs all in the name of a fantastic cause.
Tom Kerridge, created a delicious spit roast lamb with all the trimmings, Jose Pizarro, brought a taste of Spain to The Forest with Jamon & Cheese. Atul Kochar created some of the finest Curry’s and Chewton Glen’s Head Chef Luke Mattews rustled up some mouth watering treats from the sea in the Seafood & Shellfish bar.
Firing out tunes to get everyone up and dancing this year were Jeff Lynne’s ELO, Texas and of course Chris Evans himself and their very own Jumping Jimmy Flash with their DJ set.
As if all that wasnt enough there were also a whole host of activities available throughout the day including;

- Gun Dog Handling
- Ferret Racing
- Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting
- Segway Challenges
- Archery
- Duck Herding
- Cocktail Making
This year the event raised over £1.7million for Children in Need which is a fantastic achievement for all involved. We would like to thank Chris Evans and The BBC for choosing Eclipse to provide production support once again.
