Eclipse helped event agency Shift provide a spectacular launch event for Sri Lanka’s new brand identity ‘sO Sri Lanka’ at Grosvenor House Hotel.
The immersive and visually-exciting event was scheduled to coincide with international trade travel show World Travel Market 2018 in London.
Eclipse’s brief was to supply a technical concept that could surround and immerse guests with stunning content within the hotel’s ballroom.
Receiving confirmation to produce the event just two weeks prior during the busiest time of the year for Eclipse, meant it was a challenge – both with time and resources.
However, despite this challenge, Eclipse provided extensive pre-production and collaboration in design and concept and secured a 53-strong crew who worked efficiently over two days to set up a 140ft digital canvas with a 12m by 3m LED wall, four 12,000 lumen laser projectors and a Disguise 4×4 media server.
An edge blend solution that involved millimetre-perfect calculations to project around the pillars in the room, allowed guests to enjoy the full impact wherever they were seated.
Although it was a technically-challenging concept, the team brought it all together to help the client achieve their goal and deliver a flawless event.
The client was thrilled with the delivery and is considering collaborating further on a similar event in Germany in 2019.
