Invest Africa

Invest Africa

In a year where we have been inundated with references to the ‘new normal’, many organisers and delegates will tell you that while things are certainly new, the latter statement is certainly not yet the case. Add to that last-minute lockdown announcements and new restrictions, and the pressure is on for many an event organiser.

Here at Eclipse, we’ve always pushed the boundaries when it comes to forward-thinking solutions, enforcing the old phrase ‘the show must go on’. With Invest Africa and The African Debate this was no different, transforming their event into a digital format for the first time to connect the international trade and investment community with businesses, policy makers and entrepreneurs from across the continent.

UK lockdown announced..

With a second UK lockdown announced just days before the event, our ‘Anything is Possible’ mindset shone through once more, swiftly adapting the event approach to ensure that absent moderators could instead dial in remotely and broadcast live from the comfort of their own homes.

Utilising our recently installed virtual event studio at Marriott Grosvenor Square and our expert virtual event management team, a bespoke virtual environment was then designed and projected onto a green screen before being presented in real-time to over 300 Zoom delegates.

Adding much-needed aesthetics and driving delegate engagement, Invest Africa were delighted with how delegates received the event, commending the Eclipse team for the exceptional management and seamless delivery of all event aspects.
