The Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) tasked Eclipse with creating an inclusive and engaging stage set for their Annual Dinner & Awards. The event featured a wheelchair ramp, hearing induction loops, live subtitles, and a 10.5 x 2m LED screen showcasing content, award nominees, and winners, all designed by the Eclipse content design team.
Eclipse provided freestanding digital displays for the drinks reception, displaying floor plans, sponsor logos, and general information about the awards. They also incorporated a camera setup for panning shots of the audience, emphasizing the “community” aspect of the event.
One challenge was addressing noise complaints from the previous year’s event. To reduce noise from the venue’s kitchens, Eclipse collaborated with the in-house scenic team to create a soundproofed, freestanding wall that was branded and aesthetically pleasing.
The client was particularly impressed with the step & repeat backdrop, which provided a sleek finish and batten uplighters, elevating the event’s overall appearance.
