Since 2008, Eclipse has provided complimentary event production for Chris Evans’ prestigious Dine & Disco charity event, which has seen millions raised for a wide range of worthwhile causes.
This year we were delighted to be welcomed back to the luxury Hampshire hotel Chewton Glen where we provided immersive and inspiring audio, lighting, and FX for what would be Eclipse’ first large-scale, fully physical event of the year.
Back with a bang, the Eclipse team pulled out all the stops to ensure that this year’s event, benefiting The Elton John’s AIDS Foundation, would be like no other, and with the Eclipse team having already set the bar firmly at the top from previous years our team of experts were ready to go above and beyond once more to deliver a show-stopping spectacular.
With inspiring performances from Rick Astley, Melanie C as well as a special headline performance from Elton John himself, the must-attend event, which had tickets available by auction only, welcomed 100 lucky attendees in what was to be one of the most highly- anticipated days of live entertainment since COVID-19 restrictions eased.
Featuring three eclectic stages, impressive reception tents and outdoor bar areas where chefs Tom Kerridge, Atul Kochhar, Joe Pizarro and James Martin prepared a selection of mouth-watering dishes, those lucky enough to attend were immersed within the hotel’s beautiful grounds and Walled Garden, complete with confetti canons, cold spark pyros and glistening DJ booths.

Well, what can I say, we have been doing The Dine and Disco for 14 years now, with Lisa and the team from Eclipse supporting it from day one. With every passing year we have gone bigger and aimed higher and Eclipse have been with us every step of the way. This year’s event went exceptionally smoothly, and our 100 auction winners were thrilled. The evening was managed and staged flawlessly with the Eclipse team on hand throughout to handle this technically complex event. Despite taking a year off from live events due to the pandemic and with the additional challenges presented by Covid social distancing restrictions this year’s Dine and Disco was even better than the last!
